Everyone loves Portland's Village Building Convergence. Ten days full of inspirational speakers, place-making projects, good eats and wonderful community throughout the city.
This year, Erica Ann and Mark Lombard will be guiding the co-creation of two cob benches with round pole framed roof structures and living roofs. The site is in Northeast Portland at the intersection of Fremont and Williams. All involved will be turning this empty lot into an abundance. With the cob benches as an entrance to the Marketplace, soon gardens and fruit trees and a small farmer's market will follow. All our welcome, folks from the surrounding neighborhood as well as those wanting to get more experience with natural building. Come join us in this fast-paced place-making event and make some new friends while you're at it.
